Documents his work concerning creativity, paranoia, physical disfigurement, psychogeography, and the concept of the "survivor syndrome" developed from his study of Nazi Holocaust survivors. Includes materials pertaining to his private practice and positions at health facilities in New Jersey and New York; work as a professor at the Downstate Medical Center, N.Y. (1952-1977); and publications including The Schreber Case: Psychoanalytic Profile of a Paranoid Personality (1974). Also includes minutes, case presentations, and memoranda from the New York Psychoanalytic Institute Kris Study Group; research materials pertaining to Heinrich Schliemann; and artwork of Dietlind Kinzelmann with comments by Niederland.
