Abstract:

An adaption of Herman Wouk's novel of the same name, produced in 7 parts.

It's Spring, 1939, and The Winds of War that will soon engulf the world are starting to stir. Commander Victor "Pug" Henry, newly appointed naval attache to the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, arrives with his wife Rhoda. Disappointed at being assigned a desk instead of a ship, Pug doesn't realize that he and his family scattered around the globe from the Pacific to Poland are beginning the most harrowing adventurous years of their lives.
