Correspondence and legal documents of the Winslow and related Pease and Pollard families. Three generations of correspondence represented including Isaac (1743-1793), John, and Joshua Winslow, and family (ca. 1690-1775); Isaac Winslow (b. 1774), Katherine Winslow Pease, and family (ca. 1775-1793); and Isaac Winslow and family (ca. 1793-1854). Correspondence of Boston distiller Isaac Winslow (1743-1793) includes discussions with his father-in-law John Sparhawk regarding the Sandemanian religious sect and loyalty to England during the Revolutionary War. Representative legal documents include the wills of John (1690), and Isaac Winslow (1785), and Margaret Pollard (1811); deeds and indentures; and bills. Collection also includes accounts of Isaac Winslow's death in 1793, and a collection of poems and songs possibly written by Henry Winslow, ca. 1920's.
