Winter's Bone is a perfect depiction of what that looks like and how one decision causes ripples throughout a community. The definitions of courage, loyalty, love, decency, survival, common sense and shear luck are tested to the point of ripping the very core of one seventeen year old girl...
Winter's Bone ripped at my heart, and tore at my very soul. This movie dared me to imagine what it might be like to be faced with seemingly insurmountable odds with no help to speak of... would I have the soul and heart to push on? Winter's Bone is a must see for every age group and every social economic background! Myself, I will be watching it again and again and again!
