McLoughlin Bros. was located at 24 Beekman St., New York, between 1858 and 1862.
In printed stiff-paper cover. Cover design printed in red, blue, brown, and green ink.
Frontispiece wood engraving features a picture of the interior of a bookstore, with a sign advertising the Little boy's & girl's library, published by McLoughlin Bros.
Pagination includes [8] leaves of wood-engraved plates. Hand-colored engravings set in creme-tinted frames.
