Abstract:

The Past Masters Wittgenstein's Nachlass. The Bergen Electronic Edition database as edited by the Wittgenstein Archive at the University of Bergen and published by Oxford University Press. The database includes all of Wittgenstein's extant unpublished type- and manuscripts from which his published works are derived. It also contains some 40 notebooks Wittgenstein kept between 1914 and 1950. The web version is a text-only version that contains the normalized transcription of the type- and manuscripts, whereas the CD version contains both the normalized and diplomatic transcription. Facsimile images of the actual pages are available in the CD version only. TSS 203 the so-called Vienna Tractatus is not included in the web version.
