Abstract:
Follows a controversial experiment to bring the ultimate predator back into the heart of the West. Shows how one group of wolves, the Druid Peak pack, is reintegrated within the parameters of Yellowstone, the oldest national park in the United States, in 1995. Follows biologists who relocated the wolf pack and monitored the wolves' trials and successes as they adapted to their new home. Examines the conflict between ranchers and environmentalists over the wolves' reintroduction.
