The women featured in this four-volume series speak candidly about their lives, their successes and their roles as women. Each area of expertise is addressed by three women from different cultures and national backgrounds who share their experience in reaching the top of their profession and how to balance career, relationship and family. Section 1: Canadian high jumper Debbie Brill, French fencer Muriel Desmarets, and Australians Pamela Burridge (surfer), Donella Burridge (synchronized swimmer), and Erica Geisen (bodybuilder) discuss their lives and careers. Section 2: Looks at the careers and lives of entertainers Chrissie Hynde, Hanna Schygulla, and Carol Burnett. Section 3: Canadian photojournalist Helene Tremblay, Italian architect Gae Aulenti, and Japanese art director Eiko Ishioka discuss their lives and work.
