Part of the American Memory project, this site highlights the correspondence between American folk singer Woodie Guthrie and the staff of the Archive of American Folk Song (principally, Alan Lomax, Harold Spivacke, and Duncan Emrich). The site allows searches by title, subject, or correspondence in sequence. Includes images of and bibliographic records for the letters, Rambling round : the life and times of Woody Guthrie (a biographical sketch) by Mark Allan Jackson and a chronological timeline of his life.
