Library's copy bound in England about 1875-1899 in brown morocco; turn-ins gilt with fillet tooling; hollow back spine with five raised bands tooled and lettered in gold; headcaps; headbands; vellum doublures, the free doublures bordered in gold with rolls. Originally bound about 1828 in purple velvet (see Clements MSS) with green morocco doublures panelled in gold with a frame of arabesque ornaments, fillets, coronets and harps, and stamped with the arms of Robert Sherard, 6th Earl of Harborough. The doublures survive as onlays on the upper and lower covers. Gilt edges gauffered with rolls and ornaments.
Octavo format in fours.
Printer's imprint on half-title verso.
