The collation given by L.E. Kastner in his edition of Drummond's Poetical works, 1913 (v. 1, p. lxxxvi-lxxxviii) lists only one portrait, and that as "inserted". The frontispiece in the LC copy is a large portrait, with arms below, and inscription: William Drummond of Hawthornden. born 1585. dyed J649. The second portrait, preceding the life, is small, with name and dates around the oval, the dates written J585 and J649.
Library copy 1 has only one port., the larger, as the frontispiece; copy 2 lacks both ports., but includes the five ports. in the History as described by Folger, Printed books, 8:72.
