摘要：
During a routine training flight on Dec. 6, 1941, the crew of the B-17 Mary Ann learns of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and heads straight into action; the commander of a fighter squadron struggles with the decisions he must make; an American soldier's ability to speak Japanese helps him convince eight hundred Japanese soldiers to surrender after the capture of Saipan; prisoners rebel against a sadistic guard at a North African British military prison; Lt. Col. James Doolittle leads a daring aerial bombing raid on Japan after the U.S. suffers defeat at Pearl Harbor; Nazis capture an American spy just before D-Day and attempt to trick him into thinking the war is over so they can get details of the pending Allied invasion.
