Historical materials on drug prohibition activities in China   (2011-05-05)
This is a massive collection of over 2,000 original historical documents related to drug prohibition in China over the years 1728 to 1949. Section I covers the Qing dynasty from 1728 to 1911, and Section II covers the period from the fall of the Qing to November 10, 1949. Materials included range from memorials to the Qing throne, to newspaper articles, excerpts from historical accounts, economic publications, and even poetry.
A copy of this book is held in the Governor Gary Locke Library, Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience, Seattle, Washington State, USA.
