Hats off to Robert Weston for the book Zorgamazoo. This will be a fantastic edition to any school library. Mr. Weston took a leap of faith when he wrote the entire text in poem. What he created is an enchanting and engaging story about a girl and a creature named Morty whose paths intersect by chance one day in a train tunnel. What follows is a harrowing adventure in which the two characters seek to find out what happened to the countryside zorgles form Zorgamazoo. On their journey the pair meet many fantastical creatures with names with Dullbert Hohummer. The text is filled with absurdities, peril, and humor that will delight students. The fanciful and sometimes frightful illustrations enhance the story. A great story for the late elementary grades and on up. This book would also be great for a classroom read aloud.
