Lowry trifft mit ihrer Geschichte, die aus dem Blickwinkel aller beteiligten Personen erzählt wird, exakt den Ton der Teenager von heute, versucht aber auch durch die verschiedenen Erzählperspektiven, Verständnis für das Verhalten der Erwachsenen (Eltern, Lehrer) zu vermitteln. - Sehr empfehlenswert für möglichst viele Bibliotheken!
