Ablative fast pyrolysis of biomass in the entrained-flow cyclonic reactor at SERI by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1982 in English and held by 2 libraries worldwide
Progress with the entrained flow cyclonic reactor at SERI is detailed. Feedstocks successfully used include wood flour and fairly large sawdust. Preliminary results show that relatively complete vaporization of the biomass is realized and that the yields of tar or gas can be varied over quite a range with trends following first order kinetic concepts
Ablative pyrolysis of biomass in the entrained-flow cyclonic reactor at SERI : annual report : 1 October 1981-30 November 1982 by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1983 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
Progress in the entrained-flow, fast-ablative pyrolysis of biomass : annual report, October 1980 - September 1981 by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1982 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
The construction of a l-t/d conceptual demonstration reactor to fast pyrolyze biomass chips using an ablative pyrolysis technique in a cyclonic reactor has been completed. A tar vapor-cracking tube with seven thermodynamic lengths downstream of the cyclonic reactor has the capability to change the product slate from mostly tars to nearly all gases containing significant amounts of ethylene and other olefins. Char formation is deliberately suppressed with the reactor design. The design features of the reactor are described in detail
Entrained-flow, ablative fast pyrolysis of biomass by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1981 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
The shakedown, testing, preliminary operation, and minor modification of the 1-ton/day engineering demonstration reactor to fast pyrolyze biomass chips using an entrained flow ablative pyrolysis technique are reported for the period 1 april to 30 June 1981
Large-scale pyrolysis oil production by Mark Ringer( Book )
1 edition published in 2006 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
"Pyrolysis is one of a number of possible paths for converting biomass to higher value products. As such, this technology can play a role in a biorefinery model to expand the suite of product options available from biomass. The intent of this report is to provide the reader with a broad perspective of pyrolysis technology as it relates to converting biomass substrates to a liquid bio oil product, and a detailed technical and economic assessment of a fast pyrolysis plant producing 16 tonne/day of bio-oil."
Progress in the entrained flow, fast ablative pyrolysis of biomass : quarterly report, January-March 1981 by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1981 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
The construction of a l-t/d engineering demonstration reactor to fast pyrolyze biomass chips using an ablative pyrolysis technique in a cyclonic reactor has been completed. A tar vapor-cracking tube with seven thermodynamic lengths downstream of the cyclonic reactor has the capability to change the product slate from mostly tars to nearly all gases containing significant amounts of ethylene and other olefins. Virtually no char will be produced in the process because char formation is deliberately suppressed with this reactor design. The design features of the reactor are described in detail. The system is currently undergoing shakedown tests preparatory to an extensive process variable study
Entrained-flow, ablative fast pyrolysis of biomass by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1982 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
Entrained-flow, ablative fast pyrolysis of biomass by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1982 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
The preliminary operation and minor modification of the one-ton-per-day engineering demonstration reactor to fast pyrolyze biomass chips using an entrained-flow, ablative pyrolysis technique are reported for the period October 1 to December 31, 1981
Entrained-flow, fast ablative pyrolysis of biomass by James P Diebold( Book )
1 edition published in 1986 in English and held by 1 library worldwide
