He laughs at all attempts to interface with his racket and continues to take advantage of arriving immigrants. When the police fail to nail Desmond to any corrupt practices, the Green Hornet leaps into action, eager to smash Desmond's racket. Broadcast 05-05-38." Parking lot racket. "Racketeers threaten the owners of city parking lots forcing most to go out of business. One parking lot remains open and its owner refuses to give in. When Britt Reid hears about this, he knows it's time for the Green Hornet to get involved. The Green Hornet makes threats to the parking lot owner in order to expose the racketeers.
