The adventures of Ulysses by Jacques Lemarchand( Book )
9 editions published between 1947 and 1960 in English and French and held by 146 libraries worldwide
"To those whose 'Classical Side' memories of the Olympians are cheerless, this new view of the gods will be a heart-warming revelation. Seen neither in twilight nor in limelight but in broad daylight, they appear almost as a group of dedicated 'home helps', and endure such terre-à-terre nuisances as headaches, rudeness of lesser deities, and shoddy workmanship (on lighting flashes)."--Book jacket
