The Book of Mormon : a biography by Paul C Gutjahr( Book )
742 editions published between 1800 and 2015 in 58 languages and held by 4,258 libraries worldwide
For the twelve million members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worldwide (six million in the United States), The Book of Mormon is literally the word of God, a companion volume to the Bible that contains the everlasting gospel. With the faith now of one of the fastest-growing religions in the country, Doubleday is proud to publish this first official trade edition of The Book of Mormon by special arrangement with the Church. According to Mormon belief, The Book of Mormon was inscribed on golden plates by generations of prophets, quoted and abridged by the prophet-historian Mormon, and buried in the ground by Mormon's son, Moroni. Fourteen centuries later, in 1823, the angel Moroni led Joseph Smith to the plates hidden in a hillside in upstate New York. Smith translated the ancient language into English through divine revelation. The Book of Mormon narrates the historical, religious, political, and military events that shaped and continue to inform the Church's teachings. The publication of this edition offers the opportunity to explore one of the largest denominations in America today
The Pearl of Great Price by Joseph Smith( Book )

It was serialized in Smith's day and its order of matter was revised frequently in its various printings. This edition of Pearl contains works of revelation, including Smith's translations of the book of Moses, the book of Abraham, and a selection from the book of Matthew. Smith also gives an account of his visions of the angel Moroni, his discovery of the golden tablets, and the establishment of the church. Pearl concludes with articles of the faith, which helped guide members of the church during Smith's day and continues to be a source of inspiration and instruction for Latter-day Saints in the twenty-first century

Volume 2, Published revelations, of the Revelations and Translations series, published in 2011, presents Joseph Smith's revelations in the form that most early Latter-day Saints read and experienced them. The volume features high-quality photographs of each page of the Book of Commandments (1833), the first edition of the Doctrine and Covenants (1835), and seven additional texts added to the second edition of the Doctrine and Covenants (1844). The volume also includes transcripts of twenty-six revelation texts published in the church newspaper The Evening and the Morning Star and its later, reprinted version, Evening and Morning Star. Volume 2 also includes a proposed reconstruction of what likely would have been included in the final thirty-two pages of the Book of Commandments and selected photographs of a copy of the Book of Commandments marked up to prepare revelations for publication in the 1835 Doctrine and Covenants. Volume 2 goes hand in hand with the first volume in this series, and together they illuminate the process by which revelations were revised, edited, prepared for publication, and printed
