Most of the photographs are carte de visite and cabinet card portraits of various members of the Curtis family as well as their friends and relatives; many of the photographs are unidentified. There are also a number of commercial carte de visite and stereograph views of France and Switzerland, among other places, as well as snapshots of family taken in Fern Bank, Ohio in 1907.
