This collection consists of 21 notebooks with 8 boxed that were collected, compiled and written by George Drew and his wife, Annie Drew. During the 1960's, the Drews researched the history of Washington State. The research turned into a series of notebooks that covered different aspects of Washington State history. When they did their research, they took Eastman Kodacolor photographs of the current location of the historical place they were researching. The 21 notebooks contain approximately 1228 photographs. The majority of the photographs are color and includes some color postcards int he notebooks. There are a few maps interspersed within the notebooks. The collection includes the first notebook compiled by the Drews, which focuses on the roads that would become Interstate 5 & 90
