Aaron Kinne; Albert Waring Pierson; Keney/Kinne, Miller, and Pierson family members; the Congregational Church of Groton, Connecticut; and the Battle of Groton Heights (September 1781) during the Revolutionary War. Material representing Rev. Kinne (1744-1824) documents his service as pastor of the Congregational Church, Groton, Connecticut, and includes some sermon texts, published books, and a journal. Other activities of the Church and its pastors are recorded in pamphlets. Several accounts of the Battle of Groton Heights in pamphlets are included. Genealogical data on the Kinne/Keney, Miller, and Pierson families is documented in pamphlet and other forms
