"The pages that follow will be devoted to miscellaneous subjects which are of so much importance to the family they must be included."--(P. [37]). The author states that consideration of known facts make it "... plausible to assume that the Burchinal settler, who may have been the grandfather of Jeremiah [and therefore the father of Thomas], was among the Virginia colonists who came to Kent Island in 1631/32--108 years before Jeremiah became proprietor of 'Mt. Harmon'"--(P. 116). This supplement also includes reports of the first and second Burchinal family reunions held in 1927 and 1928
