They visited Dadu of Yuan Dynasty (today's Peking), met Kublai Khan of Mongolia empire and returned with letters of the Khan to pope. After they returned, little Marco Polo pestered them everyday for stories of their travel to the East. These stories aroused dense interest of little Marco Polo.
