This report describes the health and risk factors of this age group, using data from Ten to Men, the Australian Longitudinal Study on Male Health. It examines current health conditions, health behaviours, physical activity, mental health, risk taking, drug use, disability, suicidal behaviour, use of health services, sources of health information, barriers to health services, and attitudes to health. Differences by region, area-level socioeconomic disadvantage, and Year 12 completion are also considered. Understanding the factors which influence the health of young men is a starting point for developing targeted interventions to improve their health now and into the future
