The static longitudinal characteristics of a twisted and cambered 45° sweptback wing at mach numbers up to 0.96 by Robert I Sammonds( Book )
1 edition published in 1958 in English and held by 6 libraries worldwide
A 45 degree sweptback wing of aspect ratio 3, having twist and a distributed type of camber, was tested in combination with a body of fineness ratio 12.5 to determine the lift, drag, and pitching-moment coefficient characteristics. The tests were made at Mach numbers up to 0.96 at a Reynolds number of 1.5 million, and at Reynolds numbers up to 8 million at a Mach number of 0.22. The tests were conducted both with and without roughness strips near the leading edge of both the upper and lower surfaces of the wing. Comparisons have been made of these data with previously published data for a conically cambered wing having identical plan form and thickness

1 edition published in 1956 in English and held by 2 libraries worldwide
An investigation has been conducted to determine the effect of conical camber on the drag due to lift and on the static longitudinal, lateral, and directional stability characteristics of an aspect-ratio-3, 45 degree sweptback wing in combination with a streamline body. Tests were made at Mach numbers up to 0.96 at a Reynolds number of 1.5 million and at a Reynolds number up to 8 million at a Mach number of 0.22, both with and without roughness strips near the leading edge of both the upper and lower surfaces of the wing
