Pine Rivers Shire Council commissioned a landscape study of the Shire's urban corridor from Everton Hills and Ferny Hills in the south to Dakabin in the north and east to Mango Hill/Griffin, and including the main residential areas of Strathpine, Lawnton, Bray Park, Petrie, Kallangur and Murrumba Downs, as part of a series of investigations associated with preparation of a new planning scheme. The purpose of the study is to identify the landscape character and other attributes of the urban corridor which are valued by the community, and recommend planning scheme provisions and other measures to protect and enhance those values
