The bus makes one roundtrip per day between the village and the city. One morning, on the trip to the city, a strange boy flags down the bus on the country road and gets on. The other passengers complain that he has no money, but then the woman passenger says she will pay for him. When they get to the city the passengers are amazed to realize that the boy has disappeared. The return bus that evening gets stuck in the snow, but the driver finds no snow on the next stretch of road the bus must travel, and the voice of the strange boy is heard on the bus telling the passengers how they can get home
