Flat round metal rotary disk is enclosed by plastic frame, disk contains 15 numbered glass lenses of varying strenths; outer rim of disk has milled edge; a second partial accessory disk contains four glass lenses of varying strengths; knob on front of instrument controls accessory disc; angled circular mirror projects from underside of frame; small metal rotating disk with milled edge is fixed horizontally into handle and contains three glass lenses and slit and pinhole features for controlling beam of light; cylindrical handle contains small light bulb and is topped by convex glass lens to concentrate light onto mirror; handle opens to access light bulb and is held closed by slide catch; handle terminates at proximal end in two pronged plug; marked: "CAMERON"; also marked: "BRIT. PAT. 1793463."
