But until the guns fall silent, everyone must focus on taking care of the incoming wounded whose numbers increase as the fighting intesifies during the last weeks of the war. In the end, even though the canvas tents are torn downand the docs and nurses shipped stateside, one thing will always remain -- the memory of undying laughter and boundless freiendship in a time of war in a land far away from home
M*A*S*H ( visu )
11 editions published between 2006 and 2008 in English and held by 484 libraries worldwide
Known as the 4077 MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital), this group of doctors and nurses were stationed only three miles from the front during the Korean War. As the war drags on the fight to save the incoming wounded that are helicoptered in directly from the front lines becomes hard for everyone. But as much as the gang of the 4077 cares for the wounded soldiers, they also care about each other. And that camaraderie, coupled with a liberal dose of hijinks and hilarity, served to make their tour of duty in Korea an experience none of them would ever forget
