Who cares about the suffering--existential, financial, or other--of those who blindly mismanaged our monies into this ever-expanding, nay, verily bottomless pit of debt? No one, but this film may help viewers understand A) the birth of current financial woes, and B) what it might have been like, in those first few hours within the confines of an early investment trading firm casualty. Fueled by a mass layoff, a thumb drive, and a rocket-scientist-cum-analyst who really understands the numbers, the last night of good times on Wall Street unfolds as rung by rung, up the executive ladder, travels news that is -- apocalyptic. For viewers who still have no idea of how 2008's meltdown happened, this film is one fiction that will make it ever so much more real

8 editions published between 1999 and 2008 in English and held by 1,060 libraries worldwide
In the midst of World War II, the call went out: women with flight experience were needed to fly for the military. All over the country, young women postponed their weddings, put their educations on hold, and quit their jobs to respond, becoming Women Airforce Service Pilots or WASPs. Led by Jacqueline Cochran, America's foremost female aviator, more than 1,000 women were trained to ferry aircraft, test planes, instruct male pilots, and even tow targets for anti-aircraft artillery practice. Despite serving with grit and determination from 1942 to 1944, these brave women pilots had no official military status, thus no benefits, although 38 gave their lives. In December 1944, the WASP program was disbanded. It would be more than thirty years before women would fly again for the US military

In a sudden, devastating strike, the Cylons return and lay waste to the colonies, aided by human-looking Cylon variants and an unwitting fifth columnist. The attack forces Commander William Adama to call into action his museum-piece warship, the Battlestar Galactica, and soon its company of hotshot fighter pilots is blasting away at the invaders. But their best efforts can't prevent the colonies' obliteration. Fleeing the Cylon genocide, the Galactica leads a rag-tag fleet of survivors on a lonely quest to find humanity's fabled 13th colony -- a planet known as Earth.
