Die Invasion der Barbaren ( visu )
9 editions published between 2003 and 2008 in German and Undetermined and held by 22 libraries worldwide

Lilies by John Greyson( visu )
2 editions published between 1999 and 2003 in English and held by 15 libraries worldwide
"In 1952, a Catholic bishop makes an exceptional visit to a Québec prison to hear a dying inmate's confession. Once inside the chapel, the bishop is taken hostage by Simon, a childhood friend. With the aid of his fellow inmates, Simon's version of the events that took place forty years earlier are reenacted. The action moves seamlessly through time between the crude prison and the actual events of 1912. The drama culminates on the tragic night when both men's fates were decided."--Container
Shameless propaganda ( visu )
1 edition published in 2014 in English and held by 12 libraries worldwide
Some have called the documentary Canada{u2019}s national art form. If it is, the foundations of that art were laid by the National Film Board in the first six years of its existence, 1939{u2013}45, under the inspired vision and watchful eye of John Grierson, its first Commissioner. Released in the year of the NFB{u2019}s 75th birthday, Shameless Propaganda is filmmaker Robert Lower{u2019}s take on the greatest and most compelling propaganda effort in our history. Lower has watched the films produced by the NFB up until 1945{u2014}all 500 of them{u2014}and distilled the essence of their message to Canadians. Using only these films and still photos from that era, Lower recreates the picture of Canada they gave us and looks in it for the Canada we know today. What he finds is by turns enlightening, entertaining, and unexpectedly disturbing
