With enemy agent Smith aboard, the Robinsons' journey (reduced to 5 1/2 years in this verson) is more hazardous than ever. It is his weight that throws the ship off course, and his sabotage that turns the robot into a destructive menace for this and the next few episodes. John Robinson, making repairs outside the ship, drifts helplessly into space in the series' first cliffhanger
