The ships Antarctic of New York, Capt. Stouffer, and Three Bells of Glasgow, Capt. Creighton rescuing the passengers and crew from the wreck of the steam ship "San Francisco." Disabled on her voyage from New York to San Francisco Dec. 24th 1853 and in a sinking condition. The bark "Kilby" of Boston, Capt. Low had previously fallen in with the wreck, and taken off a part of the passengers, but during a gale in the night was seperated [sic] and could not regain it by Nathaniel Currier( visu )
