Notons qu'une majorité des auteurs sélectionnés sont des femmes, ce qui est assez représentatif de la production canadienne-anglaise. Entre autres, on y découvre un rapport fascinant à la nature et à la terre, qui n'est pas celui du terroir québécois. On y reconnaît aussi le sens du mystère, typiquement anglais. La traduction est également excellente. Bref, il y a mille raisons de lire cette anthologie
