Includes an account of a voyage from Melbourne to Greenock on board the Red Jacket, 1866 March 20-1866 June 12 and return journey, 1867 August 24-1867 November 21 on the Donald McKay from Liverpool to Melbourne. The diary also describes the arrival of the Duke of Edinburgh in Melbourne, 1867 November. Also contains the Stewart family tree and a poem.
