Monsieur Jourdain, a "nouveau riche" is surrounded by a crowd of parasites who are all trying at his expense to make a gentleman out of him, with little success. Amorous intriques and some false "Turks" complicate the plot but everything turns out for the best and if Monsieur Jourdain fails to become a gentleman at least he is well entertained and so are we

Suzanne Lalique-Haviland, 1892-1989 : le décor réinventé by Suzanne Lalique( Book )
2 editions published in 2012 in French and held by 2 libraries worldwide
