Abstract:
The human skin is engaged in a lifelong battle with ultraviolet light, allergens, toxins, and side effects of medications. The consequences may include pre-malignant and malignant lesions, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, and drug eruptions. This video features clinical pictures of skin conditions that may be seen in primary care practice, and offers sound advice for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. The critical role of prevention is also addressed.
