"Ond̳orozu kai vakwa" is an Otjiherero novel set in the rural area of Otjinene. It is about the misfortunes and demise of Kuraa, a livestock thief. Kuraa was aided in his illegal activities by Venaupe, who had a butchery at the town of Otjinene. When Kuraa stole the black ox which belonged to the Kauandenge family of Okotjivango, a village in the vicinity of Otjinene, misfortunes befell him. From there the title of the novel, which loosely translated means "a black one is not stolen". It is Aaron Kauandenge's first novel in Otjiherero and is suitable for young readers. --Publisher's text
