Afrenta de Corpes. 1)El primer cantar trata de cómo destierran al Cid, por unas acusaciones de sus enemigos que el Rey cree. 2)El segundo cantar habla sobre otras batallas que tiene el Cid, y como sale vencedor de ellas. 3)El tercer y último cantar trata sobre la vergüenza de las Infantas de Carrión al huir de León del Cid que se ha escapado. En este pasaje también hay batallas del Cid, pero lo más importante de este cantar es como los Condes de Carrión engan̋an al Cid diciéndole que se llevan a sus esposas a las tierras de Carrión y lo que hacen es maltratarles y dejarlas casi muertas en el Robledo de Carpes. Esta es su venganza hacia el Cid, por haberles humillado públicamente
