This turns Molly against him, but when he is wounded in a shootout, she agrees to marry him. On the wedding day, Trampas turns up for a showdown with the Virginian, but the Virginian outdraws him. This was the second film of the popular novel, the first having been made in 1914 by Cecil B. DeMille
