Sergio Tiempo, the great Venezuelian pianist, presented by the movie director Benjamin Bleton. Sergio Tiempo had everything of a child prodigy. Born in 1972, he gave his first piano recitals at the age of seven at the Festival de Menton (France) and in London. As soon as 1985, Sergio Tiempo's fame reached an international scope with a widely acclaimed performance of works composed by Mozart, Bizet, Milhaud and Infante at the Doelen Concert Hall in Rotterdam. One year later, he released a first CD, a recording of a solo recital at the Concertgebouw, and was awarded the prestigious Alex De Vries prize. Since then, Sergio Tiempo has performed and recorded regularly all over the world, either in Japan, Europe and North America. Described as "a colourist in love with the infinite variety a piano can produce," Sergio Tiempo is undoubtedly one of the greatest pianists of his generation, as well as a man greatly appreciated for his human qualities. This film portrays the great pianist, who says he owns his vocation to Martha Argerich
