The factors that led same Catholic Clergy to help Jews during the Holocaust by Germaine (deceased) Ribiere( Recording )

1 edition published in 1985 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

Germaine Ribiere. 67 years old, works as an anthropologist today. One of the leaders of the Resistance during the war, assistant to p. Chaillet, later to p. Braun in editing "Rencontre" (which she edits alone since his death). Henri de Lubac told me: "we called her our Joan of Arc", she went back and forth to Poland, infiltrated the Gestapo. She is still a legend in France today. From a devout Catholic family, her brother (now dead) was a priest. Haunted by the fate of the Jews from the beginning, saving them remained her priority throughout the war. The first part of the tape contains passages from a journal she kept during the war, from which she read to me
