In episode 1, Liz and Matty, under the leadership of Colonel James Cadogan, undergo training in preparation for being sent to France. In episode 2, Liz questions whether to continue her training. Matty, who hadn't met the organization's standards, is now sought after as a UK-based wireless operator. Meanwhile, Cad has learned one of his agents has been betrayed.
