(Critical) This program presents a biographical interview with Jean Ayers. Personal reflections on her life, education, influences, and research with sensory integration are presented. An overview is provided of her clinical experiences, specific equipment use, and particular techniques which focus on the needs of the individual client. The implementation, education and future equipment associated with occupational therapy are discussed. The program is consistent and accurate; however, it is primarily an interview and does not convey fundamental information on sensory integration. The questions are not always well organized; the scope is somewhat limited; and the camera displays mostly talking head views. The program is recommended for allied health undergraduates who are studying the theories of sensory integration
