The problems of the textual organization do not cease being the subject of various and varied analyses. The objectives of this work as the applicalility are diversified (approach diachronic, syntactic, semantic, etc.) In spite of the sharp attention paid to the textual organizers, their operation, their distribution and their role precise were not completely identified. Admittedly, they are elements considered to be necessary in the setting in text. The work which follows is devoted to the study of adverbs which indicate the stages in series. They orignate in common semantic numeration: the adverbs in -lies, their Latin alternatives and with nominal component of place and time (firstly, thirdly, initialy, lastly...) The few remarks met on their subject in the usual ones are brief and similar. It is known as them that they "indicate the row in a series", order the speech and "are used for the textual beaconing"; they are Linear Marker of Integration (MIL). It is all that is known as of these makers. However, of many questions on their subject remain outstanding: What initially differs them from serial traditional, then, finally? Typo- and ideografic substitues (alphabetical figures, letters, indents, etc.)? The broad outline but what should be the same ones differs them in practice? Other questions must be raised: What happenhappen does series built by the serial numerical ones? Which are its characteristics? How is it conceived? The serial numerical ones do they know constraints of employment? Which are the reasons which make that we have suddenly used the serial numerical ones rather than another category of serial?, etc. This work consists in describing the behavior of the ordinal adverbs, their discursive and cognitive utility by stressing constraints syntactic, semantic ans pragmatic which fall to them
