On various vehicles Electronic Control Unit (ECU), more and more members are controlled bya MOSFET circuits instead of a relay. In addition to the power switching function, the MOSFET maymeasure the current to the steering control of the body and / or to ensure that a diagnostic function. Wecall this type of component a smart power switch or Smart Switch. It is also provided in the SmartSwitch device power failure, if the internal heating caused by electrical current.
