Les apports de la multisensorialité dans l'identification et l'expression des émotions chez des enfants déficients intellectuels : création de deux ateliers en IME by Arièle Martin( Book )

1 edition published in 2013 in French and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The objective of this dissertation is to provide tools to deal with emotional skills to young people with intellectual disabilities. To study identification and expression of emotions, the multi-sensoriality seems to us to be an innovative viewpoint. Our initial observation, in our training sites, was the observation of relational disorders may depend deficits in émotional processing. Through the implementation of two working groups in IME (Medical Educational Institute), therefore we used the touch, the chemical sensitivity, hearing and sight, to create emotional situations. Through manipulations and scenics expressions, for example, the young people felt or feigned emotional states. Thus, the first part of this dissertation is dedicate to a theoretical description of concepts used in our practice. We discuss at first of emotions, then we describe the audience public, before exposing the different sensory channels and their emotional valence. In the second part, we go back to what brought us to study this subject, we make our hypothesis according to the problem, we describe the conduct working groups and carry out the analysis through the dichotomy : proximal sense (touch, taste, smell) vs distant sense (hearing, sight) wich does not allow the same approach of emotional capacities. To conclude, we engage a discussion of the results and of our personal experience
