A project to develop and implement a biblical response to suicide prevention for chaplains in the Arkansas Army National Guide
This Doctor of Ministry project sought the successful development and implementation of a biblical response to suicide prevention for chaplains in the Arkansas Army National Guard. The process included reviews of multiple investigations, surveys, reports, and the training of chaplains as well as chaplain candidates. The Project Director developed three character studies and a five-layered biblical response training to enhance chaplains' understanding of human suffering, God's authority, and their opportunity as military chaplains to better develop their pastoral counseling abilities
