A movie depicting the war between spartans and persians. Due to the orders of the council, Sparta has been restricted from going to war. Despite the council's wisdom, King Leonidas brings 300 of his fiercest men to do battle against an army of Persians led by the tyrannous god King Xerxes. The battles are visually and explicitly gory (rated R) and some of the speeches are very inspirational. It definitely shows the value of life and freedom.
